FAQ

What to expect before we work together.

Answers about the first call, the paid diagnostic, implementation support, and how we approach profit and productivity improvement.

Who do you help?

We work with established businesses where profitable growth, productivity, or operating performance is being constrained by how work is structured, measured, or managed. The work is most useful when there is a meaningful business problem, access to relevant information, and a decision-maker who can sponsor change.

What do you actually improve?

We specialize in profitable growth, productivity, and operating performance. Depending on the problem, that can involve pricing, margins, capacity, workflows, management systems, responsibilities, decision-making, or technology.

What happens after the first call?

If there is a fit, we agree a paid diagnostic or a focused improvement engagement. A diagnostic investigates the causes and priorities. A Performance Improvement Project supports changes to the work itself. Ongoing Performance Advisory can help the team review performance and maintain useful management routines.

How soon can we start?

We respond to call requests within two working days. The engagement start date depends on availability, scope, and access to the people and information involved. We agree timing before work begins.

Can I see examples of previous work?

Yes. Our Case Studies show the situation, decisions, implementation, and measured outcomes from previous work. Company identities and selected identifying details may be withheld for confidentiality, and financial figures may be rounded.

How much does it cost?

The diagnostic is paid. Fees depend on the scope and level of advisory support. We agree fees, responsibilities, and terms in writing before an engagement begins.

Will you recommend new software?

We first examine the process and the tools already in use. Software or automation may help, but only when it addresses a defined problem and the expected benefit justifies the cost and effort.

Will you help us implement the changes?

Implementation support can be included in a focused project or ongoing engagement. The scope explains the work we will do and the decisions and actions your team will own.

Do we need clean data before starting?

We start with the information you already have and identify the gaps that affect the diagnosis. Access to the people doing the work is also important.

How will we know whether it worked?

We agree relevant starting measures and review how they change. Depending on the problem, that may include margin, capacity, rework, delivery reliability, or other measures connected to execution.

Describe the issue in your own words.

You do not need to choose the right consulting term. Tell us what is happening and what you want to improve.
